Psalm 121:1-2 (NKJV) I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

Look to God for help. Be completely reliant on God the Maker of heaven and earth. For truly in the Lord our God is our salvation. Christ’s redemptive work on the Cross secures our salvation. And the Holy Spirit seals our hearts for God. We can be sure that we are God’s children because of what God has done for us. And like a young child who is completely dependent on his or her parents, if we can have a childlike trust in God, that is completely with all our being, then we are guaranteed unassailable stability. If we continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, we will not be moved off of our solid foundation, the Rock of our Salvation, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In Christ God has poured out His grace on us. It pleased God to reconcile all of us to Himself by the blood of His Son Jesus Christ. In Christ we are presented holy, and blameless, and above reproach in God’s sight. In Christ we have a sure foundation upon which we can base our hope and the assurance that God will help us. We can trust in God’s Word when He said “He who believes on Me has everlasting life” (John 6:47 NKJV). God’s Word, the Scriptures, the Bible is full of God’s promises that covers the entire range of our needs, troubles, difficulties and problems. And we can lay hold on God’s promises for help. For it is in these promises that God shows us His grace and power. It is our strength, our inspiration and our sustenance of life. It has a healing power like no other. It gives us courage and strengthens our faith. It energizes, renews, and refreshes our entire being. Friend, when you need help, step into the throne room of grace and pray. God will hear you and answer you. God will establish your steps on the solid foundation of grace. God’s compassion will spare you from despair. And God will protect you, sustain you and restore you. If you need some help today, my friend, then enter into God’s grace with thanksgiving in your heart and praise. Lift your eyes upon the Lord. And be thankful unto Him and bless His Holy Name.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
