God provides for the creatures of this earth, on land, in the sea and in the air. God makes provision for their needs. As it is true that God makes provision for man who He created in His own image. God satisfies our needs and He sustains us with His grace and mercies. This psalm is referring to Israel’s 40-year meandering journey in the desert. The Jews were hungry. They were thirsty. They were dispirited. Then they fixed their hearts on God and cried out to Him. And God brought them into the promise land. For when our hearts truly thirst for God, when our hearts are fixed on Him, then God will satisfy the thirst of our longing soul and the hunger of our famished spirit with goodness. God’s grace will sustain us, strengthen us, and fill our hearts with joy. When we earnestly and wholeheartedly seek God, we shall be filled with all of God’s blessings. We shall not lack any good thing. If God can take care of the creatures of this earth. Then God will surly take care of you and me because we are His children by faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We can rely on God to take care of us, because we all have experienced it first-hand. We know God’s care to be real. Our Lord Jesus Christ is our great, all-sufficient Provider. “Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s” (Psalm 103:5 NKJV). God exalts the lowly and the hungry. He satisfies us with good things here on earth and in heaven. God satisfies our longing heart. He does not withhold any good thing from us as long as we are walking uprightly in Christ by the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Sickness and violence may attack our body but they cannot touch our spirit. “Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day” (2 Corinthians 4:16 NKJV). Be still my friend, and know He is God. God will take care of you and me. For “those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31 NKJV). Friend, abide in Christ and He will abide in you. Allow Christ who now lives in you to have full control of your life. And you will enjoy continuous revival, so that you will go from strength to strength, like the eagle soaring from one height to the next.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
