Jeremiah 10:23 (NKJV) O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps.
No man can walk uprightly apart from God. God guides us in our life journey through His Word. The minute we deviate from the Word of God, we stray away from God’s will onto a self-fulfilling and self-destructive detour. That is our natural course apart from God. Our fleshly desires coupled with worldly desires always lead us in the wrong directions in life. They always take us away from God. It breaks our relationship with Him. When we get away from the Word of God, we always go the wrong way. Friend, stay on the straight and narrow path, stay in God’s will, rely on God for direction in every area of your life. For “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8 NKJV). Continue on with God. Continue to walk with Him. For when we do, He becomes our heart’s desire. We want to know Him more. We want to hear His voice. We want to share our hearts with Him. We want to seek to please Him. God becomes our overwhelming focus in life. He becomes our all in all, our everything. We live to fellowship with God, with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Friend, stay in God’s Word and remain in a state of unbroken worship, a continuous personal and intimate relationship with God. When, we do, the people around us, especially those who are dear to us, cannot help but recognize that, in spite of our imperfections and lack of knowledge in some areas, we are walking uprightly with God.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
