1 Corinthians 3:4-6 (NKJV) For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

It is not beneficial to one’s spirit or to the church, to exalt religious leaders by building parties around them. In fact, it is sheer foolishness to say “I am of Paul” or “I am of Apollos”. For as the Apostle Paul says, “Both of us are workmen for God.” They were both servants of Christ. We all are members of the body of Christ, and we all have been given a spiritual gift to be used in our role in the body of Christ to get the Word out, the message of Salvation, the gospel of Jesus Christ. Just as Paul was the one who was the missionary, and Apollos was the preacher. They both carried out their assigned role in the body of Christ. Both Paul and Apollos were servants of God, as are we. We are all members of the body of Christ, and Christ is the head of the body. He is the One who gives the increase. So today, we have been brought into the body of Christ by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We have been equipped by the Holy Spirit with the gift of the Spirit. We are ordained by God to fulfill our part in the body of Christ. And God will continue His work of Salvation. God will give the increase, my friend. Remember, serving is never about us. It is all about God.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
