1 Timothy 6:7 (NKJV) For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
This is a true saying. We come into the world with nothing, and we leave it with nothing. We can’t take it with us. For this reason, a child of God is to use what he or she has for the work of God. As someone has said, “Do your giving while you are living, then you will know where it is going.” Or as God says “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV). If you devote some of your time and resources in the work of God, you are going to think about heaven. And the more you give onto the Lord of what you have, the more you will think about heaven. Friend, a true child of God supports the work of God in some way. For if our treasures are in heaven, then our interests will be centered there. And it shows that we fully trust God for the supply of our needs.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
