Psalm 104:19 (NKJV) He appointed the moon for seasons; The sun knows its going down.

The psalmist continues on in verses 20 through 23, “You make darkness, and it is night, In which all the beasts of the forest creep about. The young lions roar after their prey, And seek their food from God. When the sun rises, they gather together And lie down in their dens. Man goes out to his work And to his labor until the evening.” Friends, we serve a God of order. “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints” (1 Corinthians 14:33 NKJV). Just as a church service is to be orderly, so too all of creation is orderly. We are not living in a meaningless universe. There is a season for everything. Life moves along in regular cycles and on schedule. And it is God-given for all of creation, including man. Yes, we are to use our time for productive labor. It is not right to just lay around and sleep all day, so to speak, that would be a disorder, and it would mean that the Holy Spirit of God is not in control of our life. For my friends, “Just as God has equations and rules in the material realm, God has equations and rules in the spiritual” – Billy Graham. Above all my friend, be a productive Christian. Exercise the spiritual gifts that God has given you to get the Word out, the gospel of Jesus Christ, the message of Salvation.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
