John 20:29 (NKJV) Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

See what is important here in this verse, the Lord Jesus Christ accepted worship as God. If our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was only a man, He would have refused Thomas’ worship. See also in this verse the type of faith that is pleasing to God. It is a faith not based on sight. Jesus says, those who have not seen, but believes are more blessed. The Word of God is absolute truth. If God says it, we honor Him by believing it. And we dishonor God by demanding additional evidence to prove His Word to be true. We need to believe simply because God said it and because God is faithful to His Word. For God cannot lie or be mistaken. God’s Word is absolute truth. And those who believe in Christ today have a special blessing for believing without seeing the Lord Jesus Christ. Because, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1 NKJV). Faith, my friend, is not a leap in the dark. Faith is not wishing or hoping. Faith is substance and evidence. If you really want to believe, there is a whole lot of substance and evidence to satisfy your doubts and questions. If you really want to believe, you can believe. Friend, God wants your faith to rest upon the Word of God.

God Bless, and have a great day in God’s Word.
