Psalm 46:1-3 (NKJV) God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah

God promises us, that He will be our refuge and strength. It is a very wonderful promise, indeed. Everyone who placed their trust in the LORD can testify that this is true. These verses are more than words printed on a page. It is more than theory. It is real. It is true. For we have personally taken refuge in the LORD and found strength in Him. We have accepted the LORD’s invitation to “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” (Psalm 34:8 NKJV). We have kept God’s Word in our hearts and carried out His will, and we have found the LORD’s statement to be true that “If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority” (John 7:17 NKJV). We know personally, that it is true, that in times of trouble we can count on the LORD. God is sufficient for all our needs in any circumstance, even if the earth would be removed, God is sufficient for us in times of trouble. “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God.” Trust in the LORD with all your heart and say by experience and faith that “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold” (Psalm 18:2). My friend, the LORD is our very present help when we are in trouble. All who trusts in the LORD have found this to be true.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
