Isaiah 6:2-5 (NKJV) 2 Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” 4 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.”

Seraphim are around the throne of God and they search out sin. And the cherubim protect the holiness of God. God is high and lifted up. My friend, we are going to have to bow before God. And because of God’s holiness and righteousness, God will not compromise with evil in my life or in your life. For God says He hates sin, and He is doing something about it. God intends to rid His universe of sin. Because God is holy, He moves in judgment against sin. God hates sin, and He will punish those who will not repent of it. If we would see God today high and lifted up, then we would be delivered from our sins. We come to God the Father through Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way we can approach God. Jesus made it very clear when He said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6 NKJV). We cannot enter into the presence of God because of who we are. We can come into God’s presence with boldness because we are in Christ. We cannot come to God on any other basis. The seraphim proclaim God’s holiness to Isaiah. And Isaiah sees himself as he really is, undone, in the presence of God. Isaiah saw his condition in the presence of God. What effect does the Word of God have on us? It takes a humble heart to walk in the light of the Word of God. Because if we did, we would see our true condition in the presence of God. That is why a prideful heart will not walk in the light of the Word of God. But until we recognize our sin and repent of it, our fellowship with Christ is broken. We need to turn to Christ and let His blood keep on cleansing us from all sin. Friend, you have never really seen God if you think you are worthy by your good deeds and by your merits, and therefore you have some claim upon God. When you see God, my friend, you will see yourself as undone, unclean, a lost sinner who needs to be continually cleans by the blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus said that He is your Friend and He will save you. But you have to put your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
