Revelation 11:15-19 (NKJV) 15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” 16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying: “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned. 18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth.” 19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

The blowing of the seventh trumpet signifies the end of the Great Tribulation and the start of the 1,000-year reign of Christ. It brings us into eternity where the mystery of God is finally unraveled. The Holy Spirit of God gives us a summary of events leading up to the door of eternity. First, we hear “Great voices in heaven” following the blowing of the seventh trumpet. Everyone in heaven are jubilant in anticipation of the end of evil. It is a time of great joy for them. Second, “The kingdoms of the world have become the kingdoms of our Lord.” Satan’s kingdom is going to be subdued by the wrath of God as it is foretold in Psalm 2:9, “You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.” And it will be delivered to the Lord Jesus Christ, and He is going to rule for all eternity. Third, then “the twenty-four elders fell upon their faces, and worshipped God.” The church in heaven will worship and celebrate the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. The prayers of the faithful remnant of Israel will be answered. Forth, “The nations were angry,” the stubborn rebellion of the wicked will continue right down to the very end. The evil hearts of men will resist God to its very last beat. “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be” (Romans 8:7 NKJV). Fifth, the wicked in all nations were angry because “God’s wrath has come.” People have been fed watered-down intellectual corrupt versions of the Word of God that boost their wicked ways and fuels their might-is-right mentality. They have deceived themselves into believing that they are good, but in reality, they are getting worse and worse. Sixth, the time has come for “the dead to be judged.” All who resisted God’s grace and mercy will now face God at the “Great White Throne Judgment,” they will plead their case, but the books will be open and their judgment will be just, and their sentence will be carried out, which is death. Seventh, “God shall reward His servants.” The church has already received their rewards. Now the Old Testament saints and the tribulation saints are given their rewards as Christ reign begins. And eighth, God will “destroy those who destroy the earth.” The wicked, the demons, and Satan will be cast into the lake of fire. Their judgment has been given, and their death sentence is now executed. These are the events leading up to eternity. And now we come to the glad gate of eternity. We now stand before the gate of the New Jerusalem. “And the temple of God in heaven was opened.” And we enter in with great joy and awe. We enter into God’s presence with worship in our hearts and great reverence for Him. And now it is time for God to deal with the nation of Israel. For we serve a covenant-making and covenant-keeping God. God is going to keep the covenant He made with Israel, and He will make a New Covenant with them. The Law will be written in their hearts. All of these events are yet to be fulfilled. The question is, my friend, are you ready? Do you have Christ? Does Christ dwell in your heart?

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
