Psalm 100:4 (NKJV) Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
Here we have a call to worship. And this is how God wants us to come into His presence. We are to approach God with praise in our hearts. We need to come humbly before God with thankfulness in our hearts. We need to enter His gates with thanksgiving. When we worship our Lord, God Almighty the Creator of the heavens and the earth, we ought to do it with gladness, thanksgiving and praise in our hearts. We ought to joyfully bless His Holy name because He is our good Shepherd. And He bought us with His shed blood on the Cross. We ought to praise Him because He is good, because His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures to all generations. Our Lord is God. He is the great I AM, and yet He stepped down from heaven and clothed Himself in humanity to become our substitute unto death for the payment of our sins. “All worlds His glorious power confess, His wisdom all His works express; But O His Love! – what tongue can tell? Our Jesus hath done all things well! (Samuel Medley). And it brings to mind this wonderful song: “I want to praise You Lord. Much more than I do. I want to praise You Lord. Much more than I do. Learn to see Your face. And the knowledge of Your grace. I want to praise You. Birds in the sky, Sing their songs to You. Trees in the fields, Lift their arms to You. I want to sing, I want to lift my arms to You. Praise You Lord.”
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
