John 7:37-38 (NKJV) On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

We all have a choice to make. We have been given a free will. God offers everyone the gift of salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. The question is will you accept it. If you were thirsty would you not accept water that is given to you. Maybe it depends how thirsty you are. We all are sinners in need of a Savior. Will you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior? Maybe it depends whether or not you realize that you need a Savior. To refuse water that is given you because you believe that you can satisfy your thirst by some other means or at some other time will only prolong your thirst. But it may lead to dehydration and even death. Those are the possibilities. To refuse to accept Jesus Christ will always lead to death. You see there are only two destinations in eternity, heaven or hell. No one is having a grand time in hell. For in hell there is a total absence of life. It is a place of unquenchable fire and everlasting torment where unsaved sinners are forever subject to the fiery wrath of God. Either you have Christ and life, or you don’t. There is only one way to heaven and that is through Christ. For Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6 NKJV). But Jesus will not force you to accept the free gift of salvation. Jesus stands at the door to your heart and He knocks and waits for you to open up the door. You have a choice, it is your free will to choose to open the door or not. You can receive Jesus by opening up the door to your heart and life. You can accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Or you can keep the door shut. You may say “There are so many religions out there, why is Christianity the right one?” There are many different religions and it is a challenge to know which one is correct. To arrive at the truth about God you could use a systematic methodology that uses various tests for truth to come to the right conclusion. Using the tests of logical consistency, empirical adequacy, and existential relevancy, yields a reasonable conclusion. However, true belief is a matter of the will, and no matter how much logical evidence is presented, some will still choose to deny Christ and miss the only way to heaven. Why? Because unbelief is not cause by a lack of facts, evidence or understanding. Unbelief is a choice. We all have a choice to make. What will you do with Jesus, my friend.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
