Psalm 104:10-13 (NKJV) 10 He sends the springs into the valleys; They flow among the hills. 11 They give drink to every beast of the field; The wild donkeys quench their thirst. 12 By them the birds of the heavens have their home; They sing among the branches. 13 He waters the hills from His upper chambers; The earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works.

The flood once covered the highest mountain tops in death and destruction, now these waters give life to God’s creatures. The dew, rain, streams, and rivers give drink to thirsting animals and fertilizes the soil. Gentle streams of refreshing waters from the mountain tops work their way downhill to the valleys and lowlands and eventually to the seas. And all along its way they quench the thirst of animals. And trees whose roots soak up the waters at the rivers’ edge and at the shores of the lakes and from the rain, supply nesting places to singing birds. God has tamed the destructive waters and He uses it to give life to the earth. “For He draws up drops of water, Which distill as rain from the mist, Which the clouds drop down And pour abundantly on man” (Job 36:27-28 NKJV). And the earth is satisfied with the results of God’s irrigation system. My friend, when we think about God’s provision for all creatures, we should take note the natural worship they give to God the Creator. And we should recognize how much more God provides for us through His mercy and grace. All of God’s blessings that He pours out on us like rain should bring our hearts into praise and worship for God our heavenly Father, for He has reconciled us unto Himself through His Son Jesus Christ.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
