1 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

It is an obvious mystery that God in the person of Jesus Christ stepped down from heaven to earth which we live and clothed Himself in humanity. And paid the penalty of the sins of the world. And is reconciling men and women unto God the Father. And He makes those who believe in Him righteous with His righteousness. The Lord Jesus Christ, who was with God in the beginning and He was God, was manifest in the flesh. Christ is the brightness of God’s glory, and the express image of His person. God who is spirit came into manifestation in the flesh. Here on earth, the Lord Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man. God veiled His attributes and powers with the flesh of humanity. Christ was born in the flesh and dwelt among us. But He did not appear to men as He really was. Men did not recognize who Christ really was, especially His own. Almighty God, Creator of the heavens and earth became a little helpless baby in a manger. God who has all power in heaven and in earth took upon Himself human flesh for the purpose of our salvation. But those who He came to redeem treated Him as an imposter, a usurper and a blasphemer. They hated Him. They persecuted Him. And they killed Him. But all of these horrible things were part of God’s plan of salvation. Christ allowed these things to happen out of love and obedience to the Father. For in eternity past, He said “Yes” to the Father, “I will die for them.” And so, Christ was justified in the Spirit in His resurrection, for the Father was well pleased with His Son’s sacrifice for the payment of sins. And now Chris is seated at the right hand of the Father, and God extends His grace to all who will believe in Christ His Son. For we now have the Scriptures which reveals to us who Christ really was. There were angels at His virgin birth in Bethlehem. Christ’s glory was seen at His baptism as the Holy Spirit rested on Him and the Father said “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17 NKJV). His glory was also seen at His transfiguration, and at the time of His arrest. And at His crucifixion those who were there said “Truly this was the Son of God” (Matthew 27:54 NKJV). Then on the third day when Christ was raised from the dead, we see Him now justified in the Spirit. Christ started on the course of our salvation in the flesh, and He finished it in the Spirit. And He was received up in glory. We are saved because of what Christ did for us on the Cross on Calvary, over 2000 years ago. We are saved in Christ alone. By faith alone. By grace alone. For the Lord Jesus Christ took our place on the cross and took our sins upon Himself. He was our substitute. He paid the penalty for us. He died for us, that we might live in Him. And all of heaven worship Him because He has completed the Father’s plan of salvation and has reconciled unto Himself all who will believe in Him. God’s message of salvation is preached in all nations, and many are trusting in Christ as Lord and Savior. It is simply wonderful. All of heaven is rejoicing. My friend, have you accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as your Savior?

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
