Philippians 2:11 (NKJV) and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Although everyone shall “confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,” not everyone will confess Him as Savior. Even those in hell will recognize the lordship of Jesus Christ, which will increase their anguish. For they will realize that they were the fools, that they were dead wrong. Jesus of Nazareth is indeed the Lord of glory. All of God’s people are to come together on this most important issue, the deity of Christ. For He and the Father are One. Be then very careful about calling Jesus your Lord if He is not truly your Lord. Why? Hear Jesus’ own words, He says “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV). My friend, you better check your heart before you say that Jesus Christ is your Lord. For only a heart that is humble, repentant, and filled with thanksgiving can accept Christ as Savior. If Jesus Christ is your Savior, then you will be obedient to God’s Word and to His will, and you will follow Him as your Lord and do whatsoever He commands. For Jesus said “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 15:14 NKJV). Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior if we obey Him. And the beauty of it all, is that Jesus has sent us a Helper, the Holy Spirit of God, who abides with us forever. And He seals us until the day of redemption, guarding and guaranteeing our salvation. Regenerating and renewing our faith that we may endure and persevere. Setting Himself against the desires of our flesh and leading us into obedience and righteousness. And most importantly, the Holy Spirit gives us wisdom by which we can understand the Word of God by which He transforms our lives and produces within us the fruit of the Spirit. You see my friend, our Lord Jesus Christ does not ask us to do the impossible, for He makes it possible when we abide in Him.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
