1 Timothy 1:14-15 (NKJV) And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.
It is by the grace of God that we are saved and brought to the place of faith and love “which is in Christ Jesus,” and is manifested in the lives of believers. The Lord Jesus Christ is Salvation, for “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.” Jesus Christ the Son of God did not step down from heaven and clothed Himself in humanity to be the greatest teacher of God’s Word. Jesus did not come into the world to be the greatest preacher. Jesus did not come into the world to be the greatest prophet. Jesus did not come into the world to be the greatest evangelist, healer, or defender of God’s Word. Although the Lord Jesus Christ is all of these, but the reason why Jesus came into the world was to save lost sinners. This a faithful saying and it is worthy of all acceptance. And it should be at the heart of every believers’ testimony. For we all were sinners and the Lord Jesus Christ saved us. This is a true and faithful statement. And it is an all-important statement. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” and all are “justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:23-24 NKJV). Salvation is found in no one else, “for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12 NKJV). The Lord Jesus Christ came down to earth to save sinners. And remember, we all are sinners. The apostle Paul considered himself to be the chief of sinners. But, Paul says, “I’ve been saved.” Friend, if you want to be saved, Christ will save you. If you turn to Christ, He will not turn you away. The choice is yours to make. All you need to do is accept the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and life as your Savior. “This is a faithful saying.” “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV).
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
