2 Corinthians 9:15 (NKJV) Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
You could give all that you have, but still you cannot give like God gives. God has given an unspeakable and indescribable gift. No one can equal the gift that God gave in giving His own Son to die for the sins of the world. Meditate on this for a moment. “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9 NKJV). Though Jesus Christ was rich, He left heaven, left all the glory, came down as a helpless little baby born in a stable and laid down to sleep in a manger. Jesus in His first coming did not come to condemn the world, rather He came to give His life in death for the sins of the world in order that you and I might have eternal life. The Lord Jesus Christ made Himself a sacrifice for sin for you and for me.
“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2 NKJV). Our Lord Jesus Christ is the wonderful, glorious Savior! He is the Bright and Morning Star. Jesus is the Son of God who has redeemed us with His blood. Jesus Christ is the unspeakable gift to you and me. The Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest gift of all. We are children of God because of what Christ did for us on the Cross on Calvary over 2000 years ago. My friend, this is the reason for the season. Let us give thanks to God for His indescribable gift.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
