Ephesians 1:11-12 (NKJV) In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
God gives to us, as believers, a part in Christ’s inheritance. Not because we earned it, but because of what Christ did for us. We are going to inherit with Christ because we are in Christ. For through faith in Christ we are made children of God. “And if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together” (Romans 8:17 NKJV). There will come a time when all believers in the Body of Christ will be manifested as the Bride of the Lamb. All true believers in Christ are given this privilege by the sovereign will of God for His glory. For the Jews first and then the Gentiles, the good news of the gospel was preached. All who hears the gospel of salvation and believes in Christ as Lord and Savior, are sealed with the Holy Spirit of God. In this manner all sinners, Jews and Gentiles, are regenerated by the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, and they are brought into union with Christ by faith. All who are in Christ receives the Holy Spirit of God as a sign that they belong to God. The Holy Spirit implants the image of God upon our hearts. By this God knows we belong to Him. And if we belong to God, then we are going to depart from iniquities. This is the evidence that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. And being sealed with the Holy Spirit, God guarantees that He is going to deliver us to Christ when He returns. Until then, God pledges to keep all who belongs to Him safe, that is they will never lose their salvation. For salvation is in Christ. And what Christ did for us on the Cross guarantees our salvation. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV). And God is faithful, my friend, to keep His promises to all who are in Christ for “the praise of His glory”.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
