Psalm 122:1-4 (NKJV) I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.” Our feet have been standing Within your gates, O Jerusalem! Jerusalem is built As a city that is compact together, Where the tribes go up, The tribes of the Lord, To the Testimony of Israel, To give thanks to the name of the Lord.

The weary pilgrims who have journeyed long at last stand in the gates of their beloved Jerusalem. And they lift their eyes to the temple. Its shining gold glittering in the bright sunlight. It is a splendor to their eyes. And they cry out from their hearts desire, “Let us go into the house of the LORD!” This what the faithful Jews did then, and it is what the faithful remnant of Israel will do when the Lord Jesus Christ establishes His Millennium Kingdom. All the tribes of Israel will go up to Jerusalem and assemble themselves for worship. Today, however, they cannot build their temple. And they cannot worship there. All of their sacred places are under the control of their enemies. “For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, without ephod or teraphim. Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They shall fear the Lord and His goodness in the latter days” (Hosea 3:4-5 NKJV). The Lord Jesus Christ is coming again for His people and to judge all who have not come to Him as their Lord and Savior. He will establish His Millennium Kingdom and all who are saved will enter in with great joy. For it will be a magnificent city, a vast, a great, a beautiful city. It will be a peaceful city, free of enemies, strife and danger. And it will be a place of worship and praise for the Lord Jesus Christ will reign with power and love. This will be the city of Jerusalem during the Millennium reign of the Lord Jesus Christ. What a glorious city it will be.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
