Psalm 100:2 (NKJV) Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.

Again, we are to willingly and joyfully serve the Lord. If you rather be doing something else, then do that thing that you want to do. Because God does not want you to serve Him with a long face. We worship God in our service. We praise Him with the motives of our hearts. God wants us to be happy serving Him. God knows when we are faking in it. He knows the condition of our hearts. And God wants our genuine love. He wants us to be happy. Psalm 100 opens with “Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!” A time is coming when the entire world will sing, “Joy to the world, the Lord is come! Let earth receive her King!” Because on that day all of the people in the world will know Him as Jehovah God. The entire world will bow down to Him, but not everyone will bow with a joyful heart. For not everyone will accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. So, you see my friend, if Christ is your Savior, then praise the Lord, worship Him, and glorify Him with your service now. Ready your heart for Christ’s return. That is why, we ought to praise God more with gladness and joy. We ought to worship God more with thanksgiving in our hearts. We ought to come joyfully into His presence, not grudgingly, not forcefully, not out of necessity, but willingly and joyfully with singing in our hearts. For God has been good to us. God has “blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3 NKJV). But sometimes we do not avail ourselves of God’s blessings. We don’t rejoice in the many blessings that God has given us through His Son Jesus Christ. The blessings of God ought to be enjoyed with a pure heart for God. Start enjoying the blessings that God has given you. And “Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing” and thanksgiving in your heart. And “Worship Him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24 NKJV).

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
