Hebrews 13:5-6 (NKJV) Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Don’t let your manner of life be above almighty God. No matter what your situation in life may be, don’t let temporal things be more important to you than God. You may be poor, or rich or somewhere in between, whatever your status may be, do not worship things that are temporary more than you worship God. Don’t let temporal things become your gods. Yes, enjoy your blessings but don’t worship the blessings rather worship God who blesses you. And no, the dollar amount of our bank account is not the measure of our blessings from God. Neither is the Religion that we belong to. For our blessings are in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. And there is no greater gift than Christ, therefore be content in Him. Because what we have in Christ is so infinitely greater than all of the things of this world including religion. Don’t let the temporal things of this world or a set of manmade religious rules, rituals and traditions break your fellowship with God and hinder your spiritual growth. I hope you have a personal relationship with Christ, my friend, for Christ is all you need to be reconciled with God. For if you have Christ, then you have eternal life. So, no matter what your circumstances in life may be, no matter what you are going through at the moment, God will not forsake you. Therefore, no matter what may come, we can say “The Lord is my Helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” My friend, if you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ by faith, then He will stay with you and He will see you through this journey of life, and He will bring you safely home to heaven. In the Lord Jesus Christ, we have perfect security, perfect protection, and perfect peace.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
