Romans 5:2 (NKJV) through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

The benefits of salvation are peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, access to God in prayer, hope for the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ, triumph in troubles, the Love of God, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, deliverance from wrath, and joy in God. Frist, we have peace that comes to our soul when we trust in our Lord Jesus Christ as Savior because we know because of what Christ did for us on the cross that God no longer has any charge against us, for Jesus paid it all and all to Him we owe. When we accept salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, then you experience peace that your sins have been forgiven. Second, we as children of God have direct access to God, our heavenly Father, who will listen to us and who will answer our prayers according to His wisdom, mercy and grace. Third, we have the glorious hope of Christ’s return. We are “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13 NKJV). We as believers who are part of the body of Christ and His church, look for the Lord Jesus Christ to come and take His church, His bride, home to heaven, that is the glorious hope that we have, and it will take place when Christ returns. Fourth, we have joy in our troubles because we know “that tribulation produces perseverance” (Romans 5:3 NKJV). Through our experiences we learn patience, that is to be still and simply trust in God. And when we trust in God, we have hope. Fifth, we have God’s love for us. God has demonstrated His love for us, in that He gave His only begotten Son to die for us. The Lord Jesus Christ paid the penalty for your sins, and our holy God now can save us if we come to Him by faith in His Son Jesus Christ. Sixth, we have the Holy Spirit within us who makes the love of God real to us. This is wonderful, everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Savior is given the Holy Spirit by God. And it is the Holy Spirit who makes real the love of God in our hearts. This is God’s love for us. Seventh, we shall be saved from wrath. We shall be saved from the Great Tribulation, “a day of trouble and distress, a day of devastation and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness” (Zephaniah 1:15 NKJV). Our Lord Jesus Christ saved us from the penalty of sin. And He is constantly saving us today from the power of sin. And Christ is going to save us in the future from the day of God’s wrath. That means that every believer will be called up to heaven in the Rapture at Christ’s return. We will be saved from that day of God’s wrath, not because we are worthy, but because we have been saved by the grace of God through the shed blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Jesus died on the cross to save us, and He is seated at the right hand of God the Father to keep us saved. Eight, and lastly, we have joy in God. Yes we are blessed with all of these things: peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, access to God in prayer, hope for the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ, triumph in troubles, the Love of God, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, deliverance from wrath. “And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation” (Romans 5:11 NKJV). We joy in God! Wherever we are, whatever our problems are, we can joy, rejoice, in God. We can rejoice that God lives and that He is who He is. We can rejoice because God has provided a way of salvation for us in the person of His Son Jesus Christ, and He will bring us into His presence someday. Every believer should rejoice and praise and give thanks to God for these eight wonderful benefits of salvation. Let’s just praise the Lord and give thanks to Him.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
