Isaiah 66:12-13 (NKJV) For thus says the Lord: “Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, And the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream. Then you shall feed; On her sides shall you be carried, And be dandled on her knees. As one whom his mother comforts, So I will comfort you; And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”

The Great Tribulation will be a timie of pain and sorrow for Israel. For Israel gave birth to her Messiah all those years ago in Bethlehem, but the people rejected Him. Nevertheless, God will bring all of His chossen people through the Great Tribulation because He is faithful and true. And when they have made it through the tribulation by God’s grace, there will be a spiritual rebirth among the nation of Israel. It will be a time of great blessings. For nothing will hinder God from accomplishing all of His promises for this purpose. The day of Israel’s restoration will be a time of great joy in Jerusalem. For the Lord Jesus Christ will unleash His fiery indignation against all idolaters, rebels and His enemies when He returns. And He will judge both the saved and the lost. He will separate His sheep from the goats. For He knows their works and their thoughts and when He judges them, they will see His glory. The unsaved will be cast into the lake of fire. And all who are saved in all nations, both Jews and Gentiles, will enter into His kingdom. The Lord Jesus Christ will reinstitue the priesthood and the Levitical order for service in the millennial temple. And those who are saved will worship the Lord Jesus Christ. God’s purpose and promises for Israel are as permanent and secure as the new heavens and the new earth. Pilgrims from all nations will come to Jerusalem, and together with the redeemed of all ages they will worship God throughout eternity. But there will be no joy, no peace, no rest, and no contentment for the wicked. They will be cast into the eternal fires of hell where “Their worm does not die and their fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:44 NKJV). But the good news is that God has made a way for anyone to escape these eternal fires of hell by putting his or her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV). My friend, if you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, don’t simply read the book of Isaiah and all of God’s Word. Apply the Word of God to your life and practice God’s commands, promises and love. For when we put our faith into action, God fulfills all the promises of His Word in our lives.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
