Isaiah 42:1-4 (NKJV) “Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. 2 He will not cry out, nor raise His voice, Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth. 4 He will not fail nor be discouraged, Till He has established justice in the earth; And the coastlands shall wait for His law.”

The entire world is called to attention by the LORD to consider His Son Jesus Christ for salvation. Isaiah calls to the entire nation of Israel, to the faithful remnant of the people and the king to come to the LORD through their Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ first coming, He did not come with a club in His hand to beat people into repentance. Jesus will simply let the wages of sin bring about its own judgment. Jesus was upheld and chosen by God to reconcile the world unto Himself. But the man who keeps on in sin will find himself in the eternal fire of hell, for the wages of sin is death. However, the LORD is patient, not wanting anyone to perish. He will bring forth justice in due time according to His will. He will not be a rabble-rouser. He will not crush true penitence. He will not quench a spark of faith. He will not fail. He will not be discouraged. The Lord Jesus Christ will fulfill all the promises of God the Father till He has established His righteous Kingdom. Jesus is coming soon and very soon at the appointed time set by God the Father. Are you ready my friend? And have you been sharing the call of God, the message of salvation? These are some of the marvelous verses in the Bible. It presents the Lord Jesus Christ as God’s Servant. If we are like Christ, Christians that is, then we ought to be faithfully serving the LORD. We need to be getting the Word out.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
