1 Timothy 6:6 (NKJV) Now godliness with contentment is great gain.

Finding satisfaction with our position in life is to be grateful for what God has done for us. For as it is said in verse 5, pride always causes trouble. And it is inappropriate for a child of God. There is no room for pride in the humble hearts of believers. There is no gain in pride. Rather, godliness with contentment is great gain. Real godliness is key to being satisfied with our personal circumstances in life. We need to trust in God for the supply of our needs. For as it is said in verse 7, we come into this world empty-handed, and that is how we leave it. This is the reason why a true child of God ought to be supporting the work of God. As someone had said, “Do your given’ while you’re livin’.” Matthew said it this way “but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal” (Matthew 6:20 NKJV).

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
