Proverbs 27:23-24 (NKJV) 23 Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, And attend to your herds; 24 For riches are not forever, Nor does a crown endure to all generations.

Here is a simple analogy of a minister or pastor or teacher tending to the flock. Unwearied and unceasing care must be exercised always with a heart of the love of God. For it is only the love of Christ that keeps a servant of God diligent at work feeding His flock. That is to shepherd God’s sheep. A servant of God needs to exercise self-control and keep himself or herself up-right in the LORD to maintain his or her riches of integrity and honor before the LORD. For these things are easily lost and are hard to regain. But in Christ a servant of God must stand for in this world of constant changes, God is the only One who is unchangeable, reliable and true. There is tremendous satisfaction in passing down to the next generation and to all generations to come the Word of God and seeing them grow towards maturity in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
