Proverbs 30:29-30 (NKJV) 29 There are three things which are majestic in pace, Yes, four which are stately in walk: 30 A lion, which is mighty among beasts And does not turn away from any;

The lion goes straight ahead without fear. He does not detour for nothing frightens him. He has unflinching boldness, and this should be our position as Christian as we earnestly walk by faith. Just as the Apostle Paul when facing suffering and persecution said “But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20:24 NKJV). To instill this type of boldness of faith to the believers, the local churches do not need pussyfooting preaches and mealy-mouthed deacons. Preachers, teachers, ministers and leaders of the church must have an unflinching boldness as they earnestly contend for the faith. They ought to take on the attitude of Oliver Cromwell who once said “I have learned that when you fear God you have no man to fear.” Be a person of course, like a lion, that is the way believers should walk as we contend for the faith.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
