Deuteronomy 32:4-14 (NKJV) 4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He. 5 “They have corrupted themselves; They are not His children, Because of their blemish: A perverse and crooked generation. 6 Do you thus deal with the Lord, O foolish and unwise people? Is He not your Father, who bought you? Has He not made you and established you? 7 “Remember the days of old, Consider the years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will show you; Your elders, and they will tell you: 8 When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, When He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples According to the number of the children of Israel. 9 For the Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance. 10 “He found him in a desert land And in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye. 11 As an eagle stirs up its nest, Hovers over its young, Spreading out its wings, taking them up, Carrying them on its wings, 12 So the Lord alone led him, And there was no foreign god with him. 13 “He made him ride in the heights of the earth, That he might eat the produce of the fields; He made him draw honey from the rock, And oil from the flinty rock; 14 Curds from the cattle, and milk of the flock, With fat of lambs; And rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, With the choicest wheat; And you drank wine, the blood of the grapes.

This song is about the Lord Jesus Christ, the Rock of our salvation. Jesus is the chief Cornerstone (Peter 2:6). His work is perfect. Oh, how He needs to be exalted by us today. God is the Father of Israel because of creation. And likewise, God is the Father of all mankind because of creation. When God created Adam, God said “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness” (Genesis 1:26 NKJV), but Adam sinned. After that, all who are in the family of man is pictured as a crooked generation, a foolish people. All mankind is sinful. But God is good. He measures the nations of the earth according to the number of the children of Israel. Such is God’s love and care for the children of Israel. This makes for an interesting study of the book of Revelation. It explains why Israel and the land given to Israel by God are the most sensitive areas on the earth. God led His people out of Egypt. But they began to complain and they rebelled against God. In spite of God’s greatness, justice, faithfulness and holiness. So, they wondered around the great and terrible wilderness for forty years in their perverse wickedness. But in all that time, God led them and kept them. He guided them. He instructed them. And He preserved them with His love. God brought them into the Promised Land. Because they are the apple of His eye. And He wants His people to learn to live for Him, to include you and I for we are part of God’s people by means of the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. And such is the goodness of Jehovah God.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
