Genesis 1:20-23 (NKJV) 20 Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.” 21 So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23 So the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

On the fifth day of creation the waters were stocked with fish and the earth was stocked with bird-life or “flying ones”. God created one of each creature and there has been some development from each one. But this does not mean that everything came from one tiny little cell. The word “kind” is translated from the Hebrew word “le·mi·ne·hem” which means species; having common attributes and capable of interbreeding. God created one of each kind, and there has been development within each kind. The Word of God certainly states that all things are created. And God is the Creator. Take note that God spoke everything into existence. But when God created man, He personally formed man with His own hands. Then God breathed His own life into man, and man became a living soul. When God created woman, He created her from man whom He had already made. By breathing His own life into man, God created man in His own image. For God said “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness” (Genesis 1:26 NKJV). All three Persons of the Godhead was present at creation. Take note as well, when God creates it is always good. When God does it, it is good. God alone is the Creator, no one created Him. God created everything. And God created man to be special, we are created in His likeness. This is why God desires to have fellowship with us. And for this reason, God the Father sent His only begotten Son the Lord Jesus Christ to the Cross for our salvation. By Christ’s substitutional sacrifice, God paid the penalty for our sins and has reconciled us to Himself. For it pleased the Father to sacrifice His Son Jesus Christ that we might live. God saw that it was good, and He raised His Son from the grave on the third day by the power of the Holy Spirit of God. All three Persons of the Godhead was involved in our salvation. And now God is able to save us by His grace. My friends, we are saved by grace alone through Christ alone. Because the Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ died for us, He has the right to rule over us. We who are saved by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, God the Son, the Messiah, ought to willingly submit ourselves to Christ our Creator and Redeemer.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
