Revelation 7:11-12 (NKJV) 11 All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying: “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”

This is a wonderful scene of universal worship of God by His creatures. Who are here at this universal worship of God? The church, the Old Testament saints and the Tribulation saints they are all here worshipping God. And even the angels join in to worship God. Note that only the church, the Old Testament saints and the Tribulation saints thank God for their redemption, saying “Salvation to our God.” But the angels do not mention it because Christ died for the sins of man. We are redeemed sinners. The angels never felt the joy of salvation. Now, you may be wondering why did God not create a plan of redemption for the fallen angels. You may say, God is all knowing and He created the angels, likewise as God created man. God knew man would sin and therefore God created His plan of salvation before creation. So why did God not create a way for the fallen angels to repent and be redeemed. Remember, all that God does is good. And therefore, just as man was created without sin, the angels were also created without sin. But unlike fallen man, the fallen angels were not tempted. The fallen angels had firsthand knowledge of the glory of God because they were continually in God’s presence. They had no valid reason or excuse to rebel against God. And yet they choose to. They experienced firsthand the love of God. They had firsthand knowledge of the glory of God. And they were continually in the presence of God’s glory. With all of this firsthand experience, they had great knowledge of God. And the Bible tells us that the severity of God’s judgment varies according to the depth of our knowledge of God. The fallen angels possessed a great knowledge of God. Remember, God is all knowing, therefore, when God created His plan of salvation for mankind, God knew there would be those who would repent. On the other hand, God did not create a plan to redeem the fallen angels because God knew they would not repent. The fallen angels are completely devoted to sin against God and attack God’s people. Therefore, the fallen angels are greatly deserving of God’s wrath. The angels who remain faithful to God, He called them His “elect angels.” Likewise, all who comes to God the Father through faith in God the Son Jesus Christ, God calls them His “elect.” And all of God’s elect both man and angels join in this universal worship of God. It would be wonderful if we would realize this down here. Because it would give us a greater love for God and for all who are His elect through His Son Jesus Christ. If we could express love for one and other, then we could worship God in a very real way. We could really worship God in spirit and in truth.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
