Psalm 103:13-16 (NKJV) 13 As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him. 14 For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. 15 As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. 16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more.

God is good all the time. And all the time God is good. God is so good to us, but we fail to recognize it. It is most likely because we are to busy thinking about ourselves. It as Dr. George Gill use to say “God remembers that we are dust. We forget it, and when dust gets stuck on itself, it is mud.” That is a picture of many of us Christians today. We are filled with pride, self-centerless, arrogance, and stubbornness. However, our weaknesses appeal to God’s compassion. God the Father looks down in pity on us in our weaknesses. God knows what we are, He remembers that He created us from dust, and that we are frail and helpless. Friends, our life here on earth is only but a brief day, then like the flower of the field we will pass away, and our material things and wealth will never see us again. You can’t take it with you. It is important then for you to “lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:20-21 NKJV). Friends, we need to invest in things that propagate the gospel of salvation and to get out the Word of God. We need to stop worshiping ourselves, and start worshiping God. We need to get right with God; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The true God – Elohim.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
