Psalm 145:1-3 (NKJV) I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable.
This is a marvelous praise song of God’s majesty and love. The praise on the psalmist lips is not only there for one day in the week. The psalmist praises God each and every day. As it should rightly be so for all believers. Sadly, however, many believers praise God on a Sunday, then has no time for Him on Monday through Saturday. It seems as like; church is the only place where we praise God. Why? Because for the rest of the week our lives seldom reflect the praises we gave God on Sunday. We need to change that. We need to live a life that continuously sings praises to God. We need to sing, “We trust God for all that is past and praise Him for all that is to come.” For “Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable.” Our hearts are to be consumed with a holy determination to extol, bless and praise God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The one and only true God, Elohim. We are to praise God all the day long each and every day. For we will be praising God for all eternity. Friend, praise is a vital part of a true believer’s life. We ought to praise God for His greatness, for His goodness, and for all the wonderful things that He has done for us. Most importantly our salvation which God provides for us by His grace through His Son Jesus Christ.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
