Psalm 27:1-3 (NKJV) The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. 3 Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.

The LORD is a holy God. He is the One who directs my life by the light of His Word. God’s Word “is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105 NKJV). God’s love provided salvation for us through His Son Jesus Christ. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV). God loved the world that He provided a way of salvation for sinners. And that way is a person. He is the Lord Jesus Christ. For Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6 NKJV). We have to come to God by Jesus Christ His Son. Salvation is in Christ alone, “for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12 NKJV). God not only gives life; He also empowers us to live a Christian life. God is the One who loves us and gives us strength. We have no need to fear anyone for God is the source of our strength. No one can come against God. It is therefore of great importance to have a relationship with Christ. For when God has us in the strength of His grip, no one can snatch us out of His hand (see John 10:28-28). We need to stay in the hand of Jesus Christ our Savior. My friend, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8 NKJV). David’s confidence was in the LORD, and He is our Confidence today.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
