Acts 3:6-8 (NKJV) 6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” 7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.

The cripple man expected nothing more than financial help. However, the Apostle Peter hand no money to give to him. Instead, Peter had something better to give to him. By the authority of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Peter told the crippled beggar to rise up and walk. This man had a physical weakness in his feet and ankle bones. But as Peter helped him to his feet, strength flowed into his useless feet and ankle bones. Peter did what he could do, which was to help the man to stand up. Then God did what Peter could not do. God healed the man instantly. We ought to remember this point when it comes to spiritual things. We are to do our part and God will do His part. We can do all that is humanly possible. And God will do all that is divinely possible. The miracle was immediate. The man walked and leaped right away. Every Israelite going to the temple that day marveled at this lame man leaping. This miracle, performed in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, was a further testimony to the people of Israel that the One they had crucified was their Messiah. And He was raised from the dead. And He ascended to heaven. And He is seated at the Father’s right hand. And He was willing to be their Healer and Savior. If they would receive Him. The Lord Jesus Christ is willing to be your Healer and Savior as well, my friend. God’s invitation to come and receive salvation is given to all people. All you have to do is believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, God the Son, the Messiah, as your Savior. And you will have eternal life. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV).

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
