Isaiah 6:2-5 (NKJV) 2 Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” 4 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.”
Seraphim search out sin, for God will not compromise with evil. The cherubim protect the holiness of God. For God is “high and lifted up.” Many ask why does God allow bad things to happen. But the root of the problem is sin. God is without sin, but men are natural sinners. So why do people sin? That is the question to ask. We have a choice. We have been given a free will. So why do we sin? Sin has brought all of the sorrows in the world. There are many reasons for why people sin. We all stumble and fall. And that is why, I am glad that God does not compromise with sin. God will get the sin out of our lives. For God hates sin and He will put an end to it one day. God has made a way for our sins to be forgiven through the shed blood of His Son Jesus Christ. And God can extend His grace to all who will believe in His Son Jesus Christ. God is moving forth uncompromisingly, unhesitatingly, and undeviatingly against sin. And He intends to put an end to sin. That is God’s plan for sin. If your sins are still on your shoulders, my friend, then you best repent of them and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. For God is high and lifted up. And every knee shall bow before Him. Those who are in Christ will bow in reverence. Those who are without Christ will bow in fear. For God is going to destroy sin. Those who sins are forgiven by the shed blood of Jesus Christ will see God on His throne and bow because of His love, His holiness and His righteousness. Because God is holy, He moves in judgment against sin. And those who are still in their sins will be punished for engaging in it. This is the truth about sin. My friend, it is not too late, God still can save you. But you have to come to Him through His Son Jesus Christ. There is no other way to God the Father. You have to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ His Son. God the Father is high and lifted up, and you must come to Him through Christ. You can never come into the presence of the Father because of who you are, or what you do. You can only come to the Father because of who Christ is, and what He did for you on the Cross. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you can come with boldness to the throne of grace, there is no other way for you to approach the Father. Just as the seraphim are cleansed before crying out in a loud voice “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts”, we must also be cleansed by the shed blood of Jesus Christ before serving the Father. Isaiah realized his true condition when he was in the presence of God. Isaiah saw himself as a sinner who needed to be cleansed. If we would walk in the light of the Word of God, then we would see ourselves in the same condition as Isaiah. We are saved sinners who need daily cleansing with the blood of Jesus Christ. If we would walk in the light of the Word of God, we will see ourselves, and we will know that even as a child of God we need the blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse us from all sin on a daily basis. If we truly are walking with God, then we would not see ourselves as being self-righteous, but we will realize that we need the righteousness of Jesus Christ.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
