Genesis 2:7 (NKJV) And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

This is the method of how God created man. You will notice a difference in this method from the rest of creation. God spoke everything into existence, except for man. With man God used His own two hands to form man out of the dust of the ground. It is interesting to note, that our bodies are made up of about fifteen or sixteen chemical elements which are also found in the ground. It is said that we are made of dust and to the dust we shall return. However, this saying is not fully correct, because God breathed into man the spirit of life. And our spirit will go to God. If and only if, we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. The spirit of an unsaved man will go to hell. All of mankind has the capacity for God because God breathed into man the spirit of life. Everyone has the ability to relate to God and have a relationship with Him because man has a spirit. This is what separates man from all other creatures. But we have to make a choice; God does not force us to love Him. God has given us free will and we have to choose. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV). We have to choose to believe and trust in Jesus Christ for our salvation. God made a way for all of mankind to be saved. But we have to come to God on His terms. We have to come to God by means of His Son Jesus Christ. That is the only way. For Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6 NKJV). My friends, we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We can speak to communicate. We have a conscience to remind us of what is right and what is wrong. And we have individuality; physically, mentally, and emotionally. And God breathed into us the spirit of life. This is something to keep in mind when we are wondering about the beginning of life. God formed us with His own hands, and He wants to have a relationship with us. But we must come to God by His terms. And it is not a difficult one. It will cost us nothing. We don’t have to work for it. We don’t have to buy it. We don’t have to earn it. All we have to do is repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
