Amos 3:3 (NKJV) Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?

In order for two to walk together, that is to go together, they must be in agreement. If they are in disagreement, then they would not be walking together. For one would go one way and the other another way. In order for two to walk together, they must be in agreement with one another. Thus, the old saying “birds of a feather flock together.” This is why people who have the same interests, the same ideas, the same heart will walk together. They associate with one another because they are of the same spirit. Thus, if we are to walk together with God, then we ought to have the same spirit as God. We must be in agreement with God in order to walk with Him. And by-the-way, that is what repentance is all about. It is to agree with God. Thus, we ought to agree with God and call sin for what it is. It is sin. We ought to agree with God and say “Yes God, what I have done is sin.” We need to repent of it and walk with God. For we will walk with God when we are in agreement with Him. Now, don’t get confused and twist things around. God will not come over to you and agree with you. We will have to go over to God and agree with Him. That is why, we need to be cleansed daily by the Word God by the power of the Holy Spirit of God. He cleanses us of our sins and transforms us more and more into the likeness of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. My friend, if we are to walk with God, we will have to agree with Him and go His way.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
