Isaiah 61:8-11 (NKJV) 8 “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery for burnt offering; I will direct their work in truth, And will make with them an everlasting covenant. 9 Their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles, And their offspring among the people. All who see them shall acknowledge them, That they are the posterity whom the Lord has blessed.” 10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. 11 For as the earth brings forth its bud, As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

The lives of the Jewish people were to adorn their religious ritual. Much in the same way are the lives of believers, our lives ought to reflect our Lord Jesus Christ who dwells within us. But note, just as with the people of Israel, God will not be pleased with anything we do in His name when our hearts are not in it. Do everything onto the Lord, but do it with all your heart. When Christ returns, Anti-Semitism will end, and pro-Semitism will begin because the people will be genuine witnesses for God. This is not happening today, because there still exists those who hate the True and Living God, and there are still wolves in sheep’s clothing within the church. We as believers ought to be aware of this and of God’s warning that there will come a day when there will be among the people a form of godliness but deny the power of God. However, when Christ returns, He will destroy all who come against Him. And the remnant of Israel will greatly rejoice in the LORD. Their souls shall be joyful in the LORD. This ought to be the heart of believers today. We ought to be joyful in the LORD. We ought to have joy in our hearts when we come to church. We ought to have joy in our hearts when we go to Bible study. We ought to have joy in our hearts when we sing praises to God. For God the Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to clothe us with garments of salvation, and cover us with the robe of Christ’s righteousness. Jesus is coming again as the Bridegroom for His people, His church, His bride. All who are His can join in the psalm of praise and greatly rejoice in the LORD. However, the issue today is that many Christians are out of fellowship with the LORD. They have unrepentant sin in their lives, they are way out of the will of God, because they are doing their own thing without God. We need to repent of our sins and get right with God. And we need to get into God’s Word for the Holy Spirit of God works through the Word of God to cleans us and renew us. My friend, get into the Word of God and enjoy eternal life. For when we are in the Word of God, we will receive true blessings. Just as in the day of Christ’s return.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
