Romans 15:20-21 (NKJV) 20 And so I have made it my aim to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build on another man’s foundation, 21 but as it is written: “To whom He was not announced, they shall see; And those who have not heard shall understand.”
The Apostle Paul considered it an honor to preach the gospel, to reach out to people who have not heard the message of salvation. Paul was a true missionary. He was an evangelist and his credentials were given to him by God. And this has never changed. Credentials are given by God, not a church or organization. It is God who ordains His workers. And that includes you, my friend. In Acts 14:3 (NKJV), it is said of Paul and Barnabas, “Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.” Paul’s and the apostles’ credentials were “signs and wonders” which God worked through them. Today we have the truth of God’s Word given to us in the Bible. For the Apostle John said, “If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him” (2 John 10 NKJV). Correct doctrine is the identifying mark of a man of God. Sadly today, many people are being carried away and trapped by false doctrine given to them by false preachers and false teachers. My friend, don’t fall for Satan’s deceptions and lies. Discern what is an accurate teaching and preaching of the Word of God. Stand firm on the foundation of your faith, the Lord Jesus Christ. And let the Holy Spirit of God give to you an understanding of the Word of God.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
