Proverbs 31:13-15 (NKJV) 13 She seeks wool and flax, And willingly works with her hands. 14 She is like the merchant ships, She brings her food from afar. 15 She also rises while it is yet night, And provides food for her household, And a portion for her maidservants.

Here we have a lovely picture of an ideal wife and mother. A virtuous wife is capable, diligent, worthy and good. She is priceless. And her husband can have full confidence in her. She makes every effort to help him, and she is always cooperative. She does not mind hard work. She spends money wisely, always looking for bargains. She knows how to manage a household. She does not mind staying up late, long after the children are asleep, to tidy up the house and prepare for the next day. She is a wonderful mother. She rises up early to prepare a healthy meal for everyone to start the day. She is well organized and assigns work to everyone. She is vigorous and enthusiastic to start the day’s work, even if it is strenuous work. Because she takes satisfaction in the results of her labor. The advice that she gives to her family is a balance of wisdom and kindness with a whole lot of love mixed into it. And above all, she fears the LORD. Christ is the source of her strength and love. And all that she does, she does it as onto the LORD. For all of these things and more, for her diligence and godly character, let her be honored by her husband and her children, and all who know her well.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
