1 Timothy 1:15 (NKJV) This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:16-17 NKJV). Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ did not come into this world to become a great evangelist, preacher or teacher; although He was all of these. Jesus did not come to set the moral example; although He did. Jesus came into the world to save lost sinners. This was God’s plan of salvation all the long, before creation. For Jesus said, “I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me” (John 6:38 NKJV). And Jesus also said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6 NKJV). “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV). Christ saved us, my friends, this is what is important. We, like the Apostle Paul, need God’s grace. We need a Savior. We need Jesus Christ. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23 NKJV). But all who believe by faith in Jesus Christ are “being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:24 NKJV). My friend, you will be able to be saved, if you want to be. The decision is yours to make. All you need to do is repent of your sins, turn to Christ, and He will save you. “This is a faithful saying.”
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
