Jeremiah 33:2-3 (NKJV) 2 “Thus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it (the Lord is His name): 3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

Despite the fact that Jeremiah is in prison, he trusted and obeyed God. Jeremiah was told by God to buy a specific piece of land. Jeremiah acted by faith and bought the land. But Jeremiah still wondered why did God want that parcel of land. And why was God permitting Judah to go into captivity? Nevertheless, Jeremiah trusted and obeyed God, even when he did not fully understand what God was doing. This is real faith, my friends. When we ask God “Why?” But still put our hand in His and just keep walking by faith. That is real faith. When we talk things over with God in prayer, and we tell Him about our doubts, but we also tell Him that we trust Him. That is real faith, my friends. Jeremiah had a lot of questions to ask God. But Jeremiah trusted and obeyed God. Habakkuk also had a lot of questions for God. Jonah also had some questions to ask God. My friend, such questions are not symptoms of a lack of faith, rather it shows signs of a faith that saves when we are walking in complete submission to God. God wants us to be completely open and honest with Him. And this is God’s promise to us: “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
