Philippians 4:4 (NKJV) Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Rejoice in the Lord always. That means to celebrate God all day and every day, regardless of the circumstances of the day. We are to rejoice. The joy that explodes in a brilliant display of worship is a fruit of the Holy Spirit of God. This is simply wonderful. We are commanded to rejoice. And God gives us the ability to rejoice. It is just simply wonderful, how God equips us to do the very thing that He wants us to do. We have a loving Heavenly Father who equips us to succeed. He says to us, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you … thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV). My friends, we are to rejoice in the blessings that God has given to us. God wants us to enjoy them. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3 NKJV). Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is our joy. And we are to “Rejoice in the Lord always.” Jesus is the source of our joy. And since Jesus dwells within us, we ought to be radiating the joy of the Lord. Every child of God ought to have the joy of the Lord in their life. “Again, I say, rejoice!” This is why, church ought to be a place of real joy, because it ought to be filled with people who are filled with the joy of the Lord. Celebrate God all day and every day in all that we do, think and say. For the source of our power to live a Christian life is Christ who is made joy to us. We need joy in our lives, my friend. Therefore, “Rejoice in the Lord always, Again I will say, rejoice!”

God Bless and have a Wonderful and Blessed New Year!
