Psalm 18:1-3 (NKJV) I will love You, O Lord, my strength. 2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 3 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.
Have you told the LORD you love Him, lately? It is a wonderful thing to be able to tell the LORD that you love Him. For it took the death of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to give us the ability to say “I Love You LORD.” My friend, we can praise the LORD because He first loved us and has provided a way for salvation for us. God preserves us and by His providence, He watches over us. The LORD is our Strength, our Rock, our Fortress and our Deliverer. And in all of this the LORD is our Savior. Christ is our shield, He protects us. He is our horn of our salvation. Our salvation is secured in Christ. He is our power, He strengthens us. The LORD keeps us safe from our enemies. And He gives us a better perspective of life. In fact, notice that David uses the personal pronoun to describe God. David says, “The LORD is my rock, and my fortress and my deliverer.” David is speaking of a personal relationship with God. For it is one thing to have an intellectual understand of who God is, but it is altogether different to have a personal relationship with God. Is Christ your LORD and Savior? Can you say? Wholeheartedly, “Christ is my Deliverer!” It makes a world of difference, when Christ is your personal LORD and Savior. And the LORD is worthy to be praised because of what He did for us on the Cross on Calvary over 2,000 years ago. Tell God you love Him, today my friend.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
