Revelation 7:9-10 (NKJV) 9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
The Apostle John is watching and listening to a very large crowd gathering together from every nation. The 144,000 witnesses during the Great Tribulation will share the gospel of salvation. Even now, many evangelists are sharing the message of salvation to multitudes of people. And many will be saved. They will be called up when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ returns for His church. The faithful remnant will also be saved out of the Great Tribulation. Together, Jews and Gentiles will gather and rejoice in their salvation in the presence of God. They are redeemed and they are thanking God for their salvation in Christ. They were sealed by the Holy Spirit and they endured to the end. They are clothed in the righteousness of Christ for their victory is in Christ. They lay down palm branches for Jesus’ triumphal entry into the New Jerusalem. A great multitude of people came to Christ since His first triumphal entry. And in the Great Tribulation another great multitude of the faithful remnant will also come to Christ. And all who are saved will gather together in the Millennium Kingdom of Christ, and they will cry out with a loud voice, saying “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” This is a wonderful picture of the Hope that we have in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
