Hebrews 4:11-13 (NKJV) 11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
Being in the will of God brings great satisfaction to a child of God. Doing the work of God, and trusting in God, and just simply resting in Him. That is how a child of God finds true satisfaction. Let us work to this end in prayer, in service, and in faith. For God is worthy of our trust. And unbelief is the only thing that can rob us of the joy that we have in Christ. Therefore, stay close to Christ by getting to know Him more and God the Father who sent Him. This is eternal life, as Jesus had said in John 17:3. For the Scriptures is the living Word of God that reveals Christ to us. The Word of God is the very spoken Word of God. And the Word of God has a personal message for each of us. God is speaking directly to us through His Word for our personal situations in life. God deals with us personally. Listen to God’s Word, He has something to say to you and to me. For the Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, and it will cut. That is the purpose of the Word of God. The Word of God will have an effect on you and your life. And it will do the same for me. The Word of God will keep you from sin. If you are not in the Word of God, then it is because your sin, that you are enjoying, is keeping you from the Word of God. For the Word of God “is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” The Word of God sits in judgment of us. It points out our sins. And it is sin that keeps people from Christ. It is a matter of the heart. “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies” (Matthews 15:19 NKJV). And the Word of God gets down and deals with the very sinful nature of our hearts to transform it. We cannot conceal anything from God. God knows our hearts; everything is open to Him. Your life is an open book to God. So, go to God in prayer and tell Him all that is in your heart, my friend.
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
