Psalm 36:5-7 (NKJV) 5 Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. 6 Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep; O Lord, You preserve man and beast. 7 How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.
I am reminded of the song “Your Love Oh Lord” by Third Day. The lyrics comes from this psalm:
Your love, oh Lord
Reaches to the heavens
Your faithfulness stretches to the sky
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains
Your justice flows like the ocean’s tide
I will life my voice
To worship You, my King
I will find my strength
In the shadow on Your wings
What blessed words these are. We serve a wonderful and loving God. And yet, the wicked rejects God. They do not know God. And they refuse to submit to Him. However, the righteous in Christ takes refuge in His caring arms. For “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah” (Psalm 46:1-3 NKJV). Nothing on earth is greater than God’s love. His love is eternal, infinite and unchanging. And nothing can separate a true child of God from God’s love. Sadly, however, not everyone chooses to enjoy God’s love. But God’s love is available to all through His Son Jesus Christ. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV).
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
