Revelation 22:17-19 (NKJV) 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. 18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

The bride of Christ is the church, the body of believers. Here we have two invitations. We have an invitation to Jesus Christ to come, and we have an invitation to sinners to come to Christ before He comes again. We are living in a time of God’s grace. God is extending out His grace to all who would come to Christ for salvation. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:16-17 NKJV). This is the reason for Jesus’ first coming. When the Lord Jesus Christ returns, He is coming in glory as King and Judge. My friend, now is the time of salvation. Now is the time to come to Christ and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. For a time is coming when Christ will return, and then it will be too late. Today, the body of believers, the church, along with the Holy Spirit of God, cries out, “Lord Jesus, come, come.” The Holy Spirit is performing His work today in brining people to Christ. The Holy Spirit works through the Word of God and through the body of believers who proclaims God’s Word. The invitation to a world of lost sinners is to come and to take the Water of Life. Jesus said, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink” (John 7:37 NKJV). Jesus’ invitation is still valid today. Jesus is inviting you to come. It is a wonderful invitation, come to Jesus and live.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
