Isaiah 40:28-31 (NKJV) 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. 29 He gives power to the weak, And those who have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

We serve a mighty and powerful God. God is great. God is almighty. God is omnipotent. God is good all of the time. And all of the time God is good. And God never gets tired. So, if you are getting discouraged and are wondering if God still cares for you, know that those who wait on the Lord are assured of renewed strength. The young believers shall mount up as an eagle and they shall not faint and be weary. The matured believers shall run and not be weary. And still, the more matured believers shall walk and not faint. My friend, if you are going to grow towards maturity in your walk with God, it will cost you something. And that something is your pride. For in order to submit yourself to God and wait on Him, you will need to remove your pride. Because, if not, you will be tempted to trust in yourself and move out with out God. You will get ahead of God, so to speak. But if you wait on God, no matter your physical or spiritual condition, God will give you strength when you need it. If you need strength to run, God will give it to you. If you need strength to walk, God will give it to you. If you need strength to fly, God will give it to you. For God is our Creator, our Savior, and our Sustainer.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
