Job 27:8 (NKJV) For what is the hope of the hypocrite, Though he may gain much, If God takes away his life? Proverbs 12:28 (NKJV) In the way of righteousness is life, And in its pathway there is no death.

The wicked may prosper but God will eventually judge them. In contrast, “In the way of righteousness is life, And in its pathway there is no death.” The pathway to life is narrow. And wide is the pathway to death. Jesus said, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it” (Matthew 7:13 NKJV). The narrow path of righteousness leads to life and there is life along the way. There is no death in this path, as there is on the broad path that leads to death. All who abides in Christ will one day be with Him for all eternity. However, few will choose the path that leads to life. “Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:14 NKJV). My friends, the broad pathway may be filled with lots of worldly pleasures and sinful lusts, but it keeps getting narrower and narrower until you come to death. The narrow pathway may be difficult because the world and the enemy hates Christ, but that is where Christ is; He is the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10 NKJV). This picture is of the life of a true child of God. This journey of righteousness may be filled with trials and tribulations, but it gets better and better every day as we walk along the narrow path with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
